It will be hotter than usual for the season in most areas of the country.
There have only been three similar rain events since the early 20th century, according to the Israel Meteorological Service.
Only the years 2021, 2015, 2010 and 1998 were hotter, with 2010 being the hottest, Israel's Meteorological Service reported.
On Sunday, temperatures will drop to below average for the season, with a chance of rain in the north of the country.
"The video," United Hatzala explained in a statement, "serves as a powerful reminder of the life-threatening consequences that can result from negligence with regard to leaving children in cars."
Wednesday will bring clear skies and a further increase in temperatures, returning the country to an uncomfortable heat.
On Monday, the heat is expected to reach its peak, with temperatures projected to reach 45C (113F) at the Dead Sea.
