"The world must pressure Iran and Hezbollah to withdraw from South Lebanon and implement UN resolution 1701," Katz said, speaking at the Munich Security Conference.
“If you believe that too many people are being killed, maybe you should provide fewer arms to prevent so many people [from] being killed. Isn't it logical?” Borrell asked.
The Argentinian president announced his intention to have his country recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization.
Leading international players, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, have sought to work through the Lebanese government to pressure Hezbollah to withdraw from the border.
“The time has come to begin the process of replacing UNRWA with other bodies that are not tainted by support for terrorism,” Netanyahu stated.
"The time has come to establish an alternative organization that will not educate generations of Palestinian children in hatred and will not cooperate with Hamas terrorism," Yair Lapid said.
Katz stressed that rehabilitating Gaza can only come after Hamas is eliminated and Israeli hostages held in Gaza are freed.
Katz will also present his European counterparts with strategic plans and projects to promote the region, including the "Tracks for Regional Peace" initiative, connecting the Middle East and Europe.
"We expect international bodies to advance the issue of returning the hostages without discrimination and with humanity and ethics,” Katz stated.
“This doesn’t look like WWI or WWII,” he said, explaining that Israel was in the forefront of this war, “we are there for everyone.”
