According to the Rome Statute, ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan must remain neutral between Israel and the Palestinians.
"Immediate measures were adopted to respond to this cybersecurity incident and to mitigate its impact," the ICC said in a short statement.
While Russia has so far ignored the ICJ's orders, experts say an eventual ruling in favor of Ukraine could be important for any future reparations claims.
