"A black flag of illegitimacy flies over [this decision]," read a joint call to protest from the organizations.
"The prime minister’s decision to bring Bar’s dismissal to a government vote constitutes a severe conflict of interest and a blatant violation of proper administrative conduct," the petition stated.
With everything that has happened between Netanyahu and Bar in recent days and weeks, his days are numbered, even if he is able to hold on for some period of weeks or months.
"Your insinuations regarding suspicions of "illegality and conflict of interest" represent a complete reversal of justice," said Netanyahu.
The abstention means that the government now has a comfortable majority to pass the Economics Arrangements Bill on Wednesday.

The bill that will reconfigure the Judicial Selection Committee is set to advance.
“We, presidents of the universities signed below, hereby warn against an unprecedented threat to the rule of law in Israel if the attorney-general is fired,” the letter began.
