The new US-based nonprofit, which officially launches Monday, will focus on building a pipeline of American Jewish baseball players who may one day take the field for Israel.

At the outset of the war in Ukraine, Jewish organizations raised tens of millions to aid refugees, bring them to Israel and sustain the Jews who remained in the embattled country.

Staff that had been willing to work the event received threatening emails, leading to the decision to relocate the fundraiser.

Israeli startup Oasis Security, which developed a cybersecurity platform for mapping, managing, and securing non-human identities in organizations, has now been unveiled.

The grant is part of an $8 million Google fund designated for initiatives in Israel and Palestine.

The fundraising site had originally refused to pay out the over £20,000 raised for portable chargers for IDF soldiers, arguing that the funds could be used to "support a militia."

After numerous inquiries to credit card companies and American bodies dealing with sanctions and regulations, all credit card companies have banned the organization from using their services. 

The gala, which successfully raised about 10 million dollars, was held last week at the luxurious Casa Cipriani, a property owned by the Cayre family.

PayPal Ventures and Nationwide were among those contributing to the impressive funding round.
