Israeli council head David Azoulai called for Gaza to be permanently empty and made into an empty museum similar to Auschwitz, only to be criticized by the Auschwitz Museum.
David Azoulai, head of the Metula Council, proposed sending all Gazans to refugee camps in Lebanon and flattening the whole Strip so it becomes an empty museum like Auschwitz.
Jewish high schoolers show solidarity in hopes of showing the world the "context in which the crimes of today are taking place."

98-year-old retired police officer Miki (Michael) Goldman shared his heartfelt support for the Israeli police in times of war.
"I made mistakes when I was young, too. I deeply regret if I have hurt feelings through my response to the leaflet in question or other allegations against me from my youth,” Hubert Aiwanger said.
The Auschwitz Memorial said in a post on X that it had reported an antisemitic message on the site but received a response from X that the content did not violate its rules
Michael Flynn, a Christian nationalist who previously served as US national security advisor under Donald Trump, said that Jews were willingly given to the Nazis and said there were no guards.
“Nobody who has chosen the easy path of hate has gotten to the end of that road and said ‘oh, what a life.’ No. They die as miserably as they lived,” said Schwarzenegger.
