West Bank: Pro-Morsi protesters clash with PA security forces

Pro-Morsi Palestinian protesters clashed with Palestinian security forces in Hebron and Jenin after Friday prayers.

The protesters held a peaceful demonstration against the Egyptian army's violent crackdown of Muslim Brotherhood supporters in Egypt.

Palestinian security forces used force to disperse the crowds and some protesters were arrested, including mosque preacher Naser Alawneh who was detained in Jenin.

Palestinian media also reported journalists were prevented from covering the demonstrations and were threatened with force by PA security forces on the scene.
