The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said it had received a report of a drone attack on a merchant vessel in the Indian Ocean approximately 300-400 nautical miles southeast of the Horn of Africa on April 26.
UKMTO added in its report on Tuesday that the vessel and its crew were reported safe and proceeding to the next port of call. UKMTO said authorities were investigating the incident.
