Palestinians host three day grape festival in Hebron

Palestinians in the West Bank city of Hebron kicked off their annual grape festival on Sunday.

The event, which takes place over three days, aims to boost economic activity in the city.

"We produce more than 12 kinds of special grape that are not available in other areas. That encouraged us to try to promote that product through hosting yearly festivals. This is the 13th year of organizing it (the festival) and every year people and visitors like it. In addition, it creates good marketing opportunities," said festival organizer Firas Doudeen.
