Israeli Arab injured by Yitzhar settlers

Settlers from Yitzhar stoned a truck carrying two Israeli Arabs at the entrance to the West Bank settlement Saturday evening. One of the men in the truck was suffered light head injuries and was evacuated to Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
The incident started when the two men from the North of Israel arrived at the settlement accidentally, Israel Radio reported. The settlers reportedly slashed the truck's tires and smashed its windshield. IDF soldiers and police officers dispatched to the scene dispersed the crowd and treated the two men.
Yitzhar residents said they feared the truck was attempting to carry out a terrorist attack when the truck with prominent Arab lettering failed to stop at the gate of the settlement. They claimed that some residents blocked the truck and slashed its tires, and one of them smashed the windshield, which likely caused the driver's injuries.
