Hapoalim wins ‘Best Bank Award’

Bank Hapoalim was awarded the “Best Bank Award” in Israel by Global Finance Magazine last week in Washington, DC. It was the fifth year in a row that the bank received the recognition from the prestigious economic publication.

Hapoalim chairman Yair Seroussi received the award on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.

“There is growing interest in the Israeli market,” he said at the conference.

“Especially in the fields of technology, infrastructure, energy and finance... The stability of the Israeli market stands out in contrast to bank crises that have struck in other parts of the world, especially in Europe.”
