Hezbollah wanted to draw a new equation in the North, in which it has impunity to attack, and Israel responds in proportion.
As of February, there are still upwards of 100,000 internally displaced residents of Israel's northern and southern communities.
Had they had such vehicles, it would not have averted the entire tragedy by a long shot, but could have saved many lives and made some of the battles more even until IDF reinforcements arrived.
The IDF responded to wave of rockets by striking at the sources of fire.
"We are working to stop Hezbollah's supply of ammunition from Iran," he continued. "Wherever Hezbollah is - we will act, anywhere in the Middle East."
The attack comes less than two hours after the last strike.
There is no such report by Israeli media, Maariv stated, but the warnings in Arab media cause great concern in Lebanon.
The report of the deaths comes moments after the Lebanon-based terror group fired rockets into northern Israel, most notably towards Arab al-Aramshe.
If this is true, this would be the first time that Hezbollah has used white phosphorus.
The IDF reported responding to two separate threats originating from within Lebanon on Friday.
