Israel's National Soccer Team head coach Avraham Grant submitted his resignation on Wednesday.
Grant told Israel Soccer Association Chairman Itche Menachem that he did not intend to continue serving as national coach despite the fact that his contract expires in 2006.
It is estimated that Grant's decision was made after Israel failed in its recent attempt to clinch a World Cup spot.
