Israel B will face Den Bosch in the semifinals of the Haarlem basketball tournament in Amsterdam on Monday after defeating Brazilian side Minas Tenis Clube 83-77 on Sunday.
The team, which is mostly made up of youngsters and is guided by national team coach Tzvika Sherf, outscored the Brazilians 32-23 in the final 10 minutes of the encounter and avenged its defeat in the final of the tournament last year.
Omri Casspi led the side with 23 points and eight rebounds, with Raviv Limonad and Yogev Ohayon adding 15 and 14 points respectively.
