Edward Gant works hard to improve industry practices & product quality

Edward Gant is a passionate person and a diligent businessman. Even as a child, he would trade and exchange toys with others. When Edward got older, it turned into buying and selling mobile phones and electronics, and then later it became buying and selling classic cars as a hobby.  He is a self-made entrepreneur with Greek/Italian roots living in the UK and LA permanently since  2009 after finishing university in Athens, Greece as a Civil Engineer. When Edward first relocated to London, he continued his studies, focusing on Business Psychology while he set up his first company. He has experienced a lot of growth and achieved many successes. He is currently the  CEO of several businesses.  

Edward is CEO and shareholder @UKSEAFOOD. Everything really started because of his passion for fresh seafood. Edward has been heavily involved in the seafood industry since 2010, bringing fresh new ideas and sustainable options to the UK and EU markets. Since 2012, Edward has been considered a specialist in sashimi-grade tuna trading and has been supplying the most well-known sushi restaurants in the UK, Europe, and UAE. Edward's father was a pioneer in the seafood industry with sustainable practices and growing alternative markets back in the 1990s. His father was passionate about fishing and the oceans, and he was always focused on making a difference in the way the fish stocks are being managed and the ways our oceans can be saved long before it became a global necessity. This was what fueled Edward’s passion for seafood and ways to trade species that are only farmed following sustainable practices and traceable in all the steps from catching to the final points of sale. Edward truly treasures the ocean, saying “I try to spend as  much time as possible by the sea as it relaxes me and re-charges my batteries.”  Speaking of treasures, In 2015, together with his girlfriend, Edward started a company specializing in the restoration and resale of antique Louis Vuitton and Goyard trunks from the 19th and 20th centuries with over 700 trunks being restored and sold to this day @lvtrunk. Edward balances all the aspects of life while improving daily. He learned to hone his skill of focus when he was in school.  He would hyper-focus while in class so that he wouldn't have to spend hours studying at home in order to catch up. His positive mindset allows him to overcome obstacles in innovative ways.  Edward is uniquely qualified to deal with the challenges that he currently faces with Brexit and to constantly adjust to the fast-changing market needs, mainly due to the lockdown restrictions around the world.  

In 2018, Edward started gathering information and making deals with farms around the world in order to establish the first celebrity caviar brand "HADID Caviar" together with his long-time friend and well-known entrepreneur, Mohamed Hadid. HADID Caviar launched in 2020 and has become very successful within the first year of launching being sold in the iconic Harrods Luxury  Department Store in London and in hotels and restaurants like Atelier Robuchon, Jumeirah Hotels,  La Cantine Group, La Petite Maison, La Guerité, Medusa and GAIA while at the same time the company donates 5% of their net profits to amfAR. 

The brand has already been endorsed by celebrities like Dua Lipa, Martha Stewart, Kris Jenner, and John Stamos.  

Edward and Mr. Hadid have also partnered up for "HADID Wine", which is sure to be quite glorious as the finer things are always their specialty. Edward is CEO and co-owner @ HADID Caviar and  @ HADID Wine.  

New products under the HADID Caviar brand are on the way! HADID Wine will be available for purchasing shortly with an extended range of red, rose and white wines, and an alternative caviar lounge concept is on the list for 2022.
