A young man in his 20s was shot dead late Friday night by an unknown assailant in a park on Aza Street in Jaffa.A Magen David Adom medical team arrived at the scene and took the man to Wolfson Hospital in Holon in a critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.An initial investigation revealed that the victim, who was known to police, arrived in a car, and sat in the park.The assassin apparently arrived on a motorcycle, shot the victim and then fled the scene.Police continued to search for the attacker.In an unrelated incident, a Sudanese foreign national was stabbed in the head near the Tel Aviv central bus station on Friday night, police reported.A Magen David Adom team arrived at the scene to the treat the man who suffered moderate injuries.Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
