Malaysian FM: Mideast peace process not working

The Israeli-Palestinian peace process is not working and needs a new approach to end the conflict, Malaysia's foreign minister said Wednesday. "The roadmap is actually not functioning and is leading to nowhere. I think you can forget about it," Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar said, according to the national news agency Bernama. Malaysia is the current chair of the 56-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference, the world's largest political grouping of Muslim nations. "You can't put on track something that never works...so we must find a new solution," Bernama quoted Syed Hamid as saying.
