Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat told Channel 10’s Yaron London Tuesday evening that the upcoming Palestinian elections slated for January will be “the turning point of Palestinian history.” Erekat, a member of the Fatah faction and a candidate in the elections, added that Fatah was “determined to win these elections.” He added that Israel should “keep out of it,” sayng that Israel was “becoming the campaign manager of Hamas” by demanding that Hamas not be allowed to run in the elections.
