Abbas: Gov't changes in Israel and US delaying peace settlement

Government changes in Israel and the US are delaying the search for a two-state peace settlement in the Middle East, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Monday.
Speaking during a visit to Dublin, where he met with Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin, Abbas called the political transitions in Washington and Tel Aviv "a difficult time" for peacemaking.
