Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas denied on Saturday that his personal guard, Force 17, had received firearms from Israel.
Abbas made the comment during a visit Amman, Jordan.
The comment marked the second time Abbas has denied receiving weapons from Israel to aid Fatah forces in street battles against Hamas.
