A modern marketing initiative

Visitors to the Museum of Israeli Art in Ramat Gan can win two plane tickets and free entrance to the Biennale international art exhibition in Venice.

In a first-of-its-kind marketing initiative, visitors to the Museum of Israeli Art in Ramat Gan now have the opportunity to win two plane tickets to the 53rd Biennale di Venezia contemporary art exhibition in Venice, Italy. As of earlier this week (June 15) and up until August 15, museum visitors will be entered into a draw, in which two round-trip flight tickets to Venice, and two entry tickets to the Biennale, will be raffled off. The winners will get to visit the Biennale, which opened this week. Among many other attractions, they will be able to enjoy a retrospective exhibit showing the work of late Israeli artist Rafi Levi, whose comprehensive exhibit is on display at the Israel booth at the Biennale. The raffle will take place under the supervision of the museum's legal advisor, Shai Porat. The price of an entrance ticket to the museum is NIS 20. The flight tickets are transferable, but the destination cannot be changed. The Museum of Israeli Art in Ramat Gan was established in 1987 by Meir Aharonson, and sees its mission as producing an alternative for the exposure of Israeli art, one that isn't limited by popularity, trends and general interests.
