The former Meretz chairman Yossi Sarid announced on Wednesday that he will not run in the Tel Aviv mayoral elections.
Whilst Sarid had not announced his candidacy for the position, he had hinted at his interest in doing so upon several occasions.
Sarid was quoted as saying, "I wanted [to run], but I didn't want it enough."
