United Torah Judaism decides to recommend Netanyahu build next gov't

The United Torah Judaism party decided on Wednesday night that it would recommend to President Shimon Peres that he charge Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu with the task of forming a coalition for the 18th Knesset. The decision followed a faction meeting with Netanyahu. Channel 2 reported that by Wednesday evening, 50 MKs, including those from United Torah Judaism, had announced they would recommend Netanyahu, whereas only Kadima's 28 MKs had recommended their party leader, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.
