Britain's Minister of Higher Education, Bill Rammel, voiced on Sunday strong opposition to the boycott resolution passed recently by the UK's University and College Union.
Speaking at a meeting with the press and students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rammell said that a boycott was "fundamentally wrong," and that he hoped his visit sent a "a strong message of the views of the British government and people" in rejection of the concept of a boycott of Israeli higher educational institutions and academics.
