The IDF, Shin Bet (Internal Security Agency), and the police have decided on Monday on creating a united task forced aimed at preventing the destruction of olive trees in the West Bank.
In a discussion with the West Bank operations coordinator Maj.-Gen. Yosef Mishlab, the civil administration that more than 2,400 olive trees were cut down or damaged throughout the West Bank.
According to Israel Radio, just last weekend more than 100 trees were hewed near Hebron.
