Sderot mayor says he'd talk to Hamas if it would stop rockets

Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal said Saturday he was willing to speak to Hamas if it meant stopping rocket attacks on Israel.
In an interview to UK newspaper The Guardian, Moyal said: "I would say to Hamas, let's have a ceasefire, let's stop the rockets for the next 10 years and we will see what happens."
"If we don't talk we go deeper and deeper into war," Moyal said. This, he added, would mean "innocent people being killed on both sides."
"For me as a person the most important thing is life and I'm ready to do everything for that. I'm ready to talk to the devil," he said.
