Police arrested a Rishon Lezion resident on Tuesday on suspicion that he beat his six-year-old daughter with a belt.
During the investigation against the man, his wife admitted that the suspect was wont to beat her, as well.
The man was brought to the Rishon Lezion Magistrates' Court for a remand extension.
