Open House: Parade will have 'J'lem character'

Open House director Noa Satat reiterated on Monday morning that the planned Gay Pride Parade would "have a 'Jerusalem character' - nothing sexual or provocative." Satat spoke with Army Radio ahead of her planned meeting with the Jerusalem Police. When asked if people were worried about the threats of violence against parade participants, Satat said that on one hand, people were concerned, but on the other hand, many people had joined the Open House's struggle to hold the parade. "It's gone beyond a sector-specific issue and become about freedom of expression," Satat said.
