Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz came out on Tuesday evening in support of IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz following criticism of Halutz's selling of a stock portfolio on the eve of IDF incursions into Lebanon in mid-July.
Mofaz, who as defense minister appointed Halutz to his position, said that he respected Halutz's years of service to the state, both as a soldier and commander.
