Attorney General Menahem Mazuz decided on Wednesday to postpone the hearing in the case of Shas MK Shlomo Benizri by three months.
According to the Justice Ministry, the postponement was done at the request of the Shas MK, after his new attorneys required more time to learn the case, Israel Radio reported.
Benizri was already indicted under charges of bribe, fraud, and breach of trust for alleged offences while serving as health minister, welfare minister, and deputy health minister.
