Livni praises UNSC extension of peacekeepers' mandate in s. Lebanon

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni praised the United Nations Security Council decision Friday to extend the presence of its peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon by one year, Army Radio reported.
Following an Israeli request, several clauses were added to the decision including a call to immediately free kidnapped IDF reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev without pre-set conditions, as well as condemnation of terror attacks against UNIFL troops operating in the area.
