Labor suspends activities after activist's death

A 24-year-old Labor Party activist was electrocuted to death Saturday, while trying to remove a rival party's sign from a bridge on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway. The Labor Party issued a statement saying that they mourned the young activist's death, and that they embraced the youth's family in their time of hardship. In sympathy with the bereaved family, the party said that they would suspend all party activities for the remainder of the day.
