Knesset to rule on sacking terror-supporting MKs

The Knesset Committee decided on Tuesday to move forward on ruling on a proposed legislation that would allow revoking Knesset membership of those who supported violent uprising against Israel. The petition, submitted by MK Zevulun Orlev (NU-NRP), proposed that the Knesset committee, with the approval of the Supreme Court, would be authorized to cancel the membership of any MK who "identified with a terror organization and any enemy of the state of Israel."
