The Knesset House Committee voted Monday morning to recommend to the Knesset Finance Committee that they replace Chairman of the committee MK Ya'acov Litzman.
The decision passed by a slim majority of 13 to 12. The Knesset House Committee also recommended that the Finance Committee appoint as new Chairperson, MK Stas Meseznikov.
The vote was considered important in that it paves the way for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to go ahead with his cabinet reshuffle.
