Kadima urges Peretz to dismiss his campaign head
Labor campaign manager Moti Morell accused Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Thursday of trying to divert the public discourse from socio-economic issues to a security-related agenda. According to Israel Radio, Morell implied that Sharon, by renewing the policy of targeted assassinations, could affect the number of terror attacks. "When there weren't any targeted assassinations, there weren't any Kassam or terrorist attacks," he said. Officials at Kadima party headquarters demanded of Labor Chairman Amir Peretz to dismiss Morell in light of his "serious allegations."
