Jewish teen stabbed in Jerusalem park

A young Jewish teen was stabbed and moderately wounded Wednesday night by a suspected Arab attacker in a central Jerusalem park, police said. The motive for the 7 p.m. attack in the city's Liberty Bell Park was under investigation, with police trying to verify whether it was a terror-related attack. The suspected Arab assailant fled the scene, but a suspect fitting his description was arrested minutes later near the Jaffa Gate, a five minute walk from the park. The female Jewish victim, who received first aid treatment on the scene, was expected to be evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital.
