Police were to request a remand extension on Wednesday for Yoram Karshi, brother of PMO Bureau Chief Shula Zaken, as the police investigation into the alleged tax bribery scandal in the Israel Tax Authority continued.
Karshi, one of several lead suspects in the case, allegedly worked to ensure ITA head Jacky Matza's current appointment.
