IDF artillery returned fire toward the Gaza Strip early Wednesday morning after a shoulder-launched anti-tank rocket was launched from Gaza into Israeli territory, Israel Radio reported.
Meanwhile, security forces were in hot pursuit of three infiltrators who entered Israel from the Sinai Peninsula in the Nitzana area. It was not certain for what purpose the infiltrators crossed the border into the region, characterized by barren sand dunes.
