IAF strikes Gaza smuggli

IAF aircraft destroyed a number of weapons smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip Tuesday night, in response to the firing of two Kassam rockets into Israel Tuesday evening. The army said it had confirmed hitting the targets. Palestinian sources said that two of their people were killed and another six were wounded in the strike. The attack came after two rockets were fired by Gaza terrorists in the evening hours, hitting south of Ashkelon and in the Eshkol region respectively. No one was hurt in the attacks and there was no report of damage to property. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has vowed to respond to any attack on Israel from Gaza. Meanwhile, IDF troops arrested 14 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank overnight Tuesday. The detainees were taken for interrogation by security forces.
