The skeletal remains of a homeless man were found Sunday near a central Jerusalem park, police said.
The man, who has not been identified, had been living in a tent in the Valley of the Cross, near the city's popular Sacher Park, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said.
The victim's body which was discovered by passers-by on Sunday morning was sent to the Abu Kabir forensic institute for an autopsy.
The city spokesman had no immediate comment late Sunday.
