A homeless man from Kiryat Ata was to be brought for a remand extension on Sunday after he was arrested for allegedly murdering another homeless man in a local forest.
An initial investigation indicated that the 38-year-old man stabbed the victim in the heart during a fight that broke out between the two.
The suspect admitted to the murder and recounted the incident for police.
