Dozens of haredi protestors attempted to block Bar Ilan Street in Jerusalem on Saturday and threw stones at police officers who arrived on the scene.
No one was wounded and no damage was reported as a result of the violence.
According to Army Radio, the demonstration was dispersed by police and two protestors were arrested.
