Four minors aged 13 to 15 were arrested Thursday night after they were seen abusing an elderly man in the middle of the street in Bat Yam. Ayalon Precinct Policemen and a municipality security team spotted the boys, who were circling the 74-year-old man on bicycles. The boys were yelling expletives at the man and ramming him with their bikes. At one point they pushed him to the ground. When the attackers realized that they had been spotted by police they attempted to flee but were caught shortly afterwards. The elderly man was not hurt. One of the boys admitted in his interrogation to having broken the windshield of a moving car with a marble. He said the woman driving the car had lost control of the vehicle but was not hurt. The four were scheduled to be brought before a judge at Rishon Lezion Juvenile Court on Friday.
