Five Arabs held for swindling seniors at ATMs

Five Arab men were under arrest Wednesday for allegedly stealing NIS 200,000 from dozens of Israeli seniors at cash stations nationwide over the last two months, police said. The five suspects, who were apprehended before for the same offense, are believed to have swindled scores of seniors withdrawing cash in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan by offering to 'help' them with the procedure and then pocketing half of the cash they withdrew. The five were to be brought to a Jerusalem court Wednesday for a remand hearing.
