Barak, Hanegbi conclude late night meeting; sources: much progress made

Labor party chair Ehud Barak and Kadima MK Tzahi Hanegbi met late on Saturday night, continuing coalition discussions between the two parties. Hanegbi was representing new Kadima leader Tzipi Livni.
Sources close to Barak said that much progress was made in the meeting, especially on security and political issues, and confirmed that Barak had demanded to be involved in discussions and negotiations with Syria.
