Finance Minister Ronnie Bar-On on Thursday expressed his opposition to fortifying Gaza belt neighborhoods, saying the problem was not in Sderot but in Gaza.
"There [in Gaza] we need solve the problem, not in Sderot. Those involved in terror, whether they are pulling the trigger or blowing themselves up in a city square, or whether they are dispatching them or instructing them, their fate should be the same," he told Army Radio.
