42-year-old Ashdod resident drowns while swimming at city beach

A 42-year-old resident of Ashdod drowned Sunday morning while swimming at one of the city's beaches.
He was pulled out of the water by a Magen David Adom team, which tried to revive him but was unsuccessful.
