Two youths from an Arab village in the north of Israel were arrested Friday on charges that they tried to run over a soldier Thursday evening.
The two allegedly sped towards the soldier, who was standing at the roadside. She managed to jump over the guardrail and avoid the car, and was uninjured.
A police spokesman said that there was no suspicion that the incident was racially motivated, Army Radio reported.
