Police arrested two teenagers from Wadi Ara Sunday morning on suspicion that they had thrown stones at vehicles driving on the Yitzhak Rabin Cross Israel Highway (highway 6).
According to investigators, there have been an increasing number of instances in which youngsters compete with each other by throwing stones at cars.
More arrests were expected, Army Radio reported.
