White Hat Israeli hackers expose Lebanese site targeting Mossad Chief

White Hat hacker Noam Rotem was able to unearth a malicious site that revealed home addresses and personal information of top Israeli security officials with the intent to entrap reporters.

White Hat hacker Noam Rotem exposed a malicious Lebanese site that exposed personal details concerning Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen and IDF Arabic Language Spokesperson Avichay Adraee and delivered his findings to the proper security authorities, Channel 12 news reported on Thursday.
White Hat are hackers who use their cyber skills for the common good by exposing security breaches in services many use without being aware of how they might endanger their privacy.
The site, operated from Beirut, revealed the names of family members, the home addresses, and images of top ranking security officials in an attempt to tempt reporters who would be exposed to attacks from the site operators.
The site is still active.
